Welcome to Lakeview Community Church! We are so glad you have chosen to worship with us. Our hope is that you will feel loved and welcomed here at Lakeview but most importantly that you feel and experience the presence of the Holy Spirit.

I would like to offer a brief introduction. My wife Nicole and I have had  the honor of serving here at Lakeview since April of 2022. We have 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren (2 of whom we are raising as our own). We are so thankful for God’s blessings! Burlington is home for me, so I am thankful God called me back to the area. Please ask me sometime for the “full story” of that calling and how the goodness of God was at work.

Previously, I pastored in Rose Hill, NC at Bethel Wesleyan Church and prior to that at Kildee Wesleyan in Ramseur. Our family attended First Wesleyan Church in Burlington for 22 years. While there, my wife and I served in the Children’s Ministry as well as serving as Youth Leaders and Associate Pastor. While there, I received the call into the ministry. Answering and being obedient to God’s direction for our lives has been incredibly fulfilling.

After answering the call to the ministry, I received my Bachelors in Biblical Studies from Indiana Wesleyan University and went on to pursue a Masters in Pastoral Leadership at Wesley Seminary.

My wife, Nicole, worked for 20 years as a Respiratory Therapist. She now enjoys working in various capacities here at Lakeview and in the community. She also keeps up with the schedules of two very active children. We love time at the lake, precious time with family and I am an avid golfer.

The most important passions Nicole and I share is the dedication and service to the King and growing his Kingdom! It is truly a blessing to see a person’s relationship with Christ grow and strengthen. We love seeing lives changed by the Holy Spirit! It is our hope that you will find your church home here at Lakeview but above all, that you will find a family.
